Finding the Courage to Repent

Day after day, there exists a never-ending universal problem of the faithful few: it is Sin. We sin against others, ourselves and to God. The word sin has its entymology which means "to miss or fail", which is best exemplified in the quote by St. Paul, "all that sinned and fall short of God's glory". Through the Word and through congregations like Church of God Lexington KY, God shows us what is good and bad, and when we fail to adhere, we sin. In the context of religion, it means that one has committed something that has missed the path to holiness and to God.

Contrary to popular belief, sinning is not an unconscious action. It is powered by human will, an act of defiance to what has been taught to us by God and by his religious stewards on earth. Becoming members of religious groups like the Church of God Lexington KY, may help you become more aware and alert to do what is right and strengthen a weak resolve and manage our susceptibility to temptation.

The unfaithul are the ones who are sinful and have willed themselves to do even things that they know will do harm to them. They lead a life full of misery and darkness, as they have no group of people like Church of God Lexington KY, KY community that holds each member's belief and faith as well as encourage them to build their trust in the Grace of God. Members of various congregations feel that being within a local, God-fearing and faith-centered group helps them swerve away from the path of darkness and evil.

Repentance of sin is not completely unreachable even if you've sinned a great lot in the past. God's saving light is truly beyond any human understanding and capability. Recognizing one's negligence and accepting one's limitations is the first path to repentance, setting the first step to a clean heart in the eyes of the Almighty. God's mercy is always showered upon mankind as long as he or she believes, receives and keeps the faith in Christ. The only way that it is disconnected is when people forget to recognize that God is always there with all of us.  Fighting the good fight when it comes to faith means that life must always follow according to what was taught to us by the family, the Church, and God.
